Registration Procedures
Attendance
Only preregistered, prepaid registrants will be guaranteed access to the event. Upon receipt of your registration and payment, The AusIMM will send registration confirmation.
Registering On-Site
On-site registrants, with payment only, will be admitted on space availability.
AusIMM Member Registration Rates
To qualify for the special rates of ‘AusIMM Member’ as quoted on the registration booking form you must be a financial (paid) member. AusIMM 2010 Membership Fees were due by 1st January 2010. Non-member registration fees apply to all non-members and non-financial AusIMM members.
International Registration Rates
To qualify for the special rates of ‘International’ as quoted on the registration booking form you must be an overseas resident.
Non Member Registration Rates
This category applies to all Australian residents not a Member of The AusIMM.
Method of Payment
Payment must accompany all registrations. We accept the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners. We accept money orders, company and personal cheques. Purchase orders will be accepted, however copies of the purchase order must be supplied with the registration, purchase order number quoted on the registration form and payment received in full prior to the congress start date. Only paid registrations will be confirmed. Tour places will only be held if payment is received.
What’s Included
We welcome all members, international and non member delegates to register by completing the registration form and returning it with their remittance to Event Management.
- All registration categories include: Access to all technical sessions, congress program/abstract volume, CD ROM congress proceedings, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, Welcome Function, Happy Hour, Organ Recital and Congress Dinner. Farewell Function is additional. To qualify for the New Professional Registration Rate you must be under 31 years of age. Proof of age must be supplied upon check-in at the congress.
- Student Registration includes: All as mentioned above however a Student must be currently enrolled full-time at a tertiary institution. Proof of full-time status must be submitted with the registration form. If registering online, proof of full time enrolment must be emailed separately to: alisonm@ausimm.com.au
Delegate List
Please note that all registered delegates will have their name, position, company and email address printed in a Delegate List. Should you not wish to have your details distributed please notify Event Management as soon as possible.
Confirmation of Bookings
Congress registrations and/or Workshop bookings will be acknowledged as they are received with payment in full. Receipts for registration payments will be forwarded separately to the confirmation letter. Please check the confirmation letter and advise of any alterations immediately.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations of registration must be by letter, facsimile or email only. Refunds will apply as follows:
- More than 28 days before the Congress – Full Refund
- 28 – 7 days before the Congress – Refund (less AU$200 administration charge)
- 7 days or less before the Congress or non-attendance – No Refund (no exceptions)
An organisation may send an alternative delegate if registration has been paid and the registered person is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Event Management must be advised of the change prior to the Congress.
Waiver of Liability
The AusIMM, CSIRO and the JKTech accept no liability to any persons or body for any loss, injury or damage howsoever and whether directly from any action or cause whatsoever undertaken, organised or sponsored by The AusIMM, CSIRO and JKTech.
